A juvenile male Cinereous Vulture /Monachus aegypius/, namely Sky, was released on 29 April 2017 after being rehabilitated at Kasetsart University Raptor Unit (KURU), Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Veterinary Teaching Hospital since 17 January 2017. The Vulture was found exhausted and emaciated in Buayai district, Nakhon Ratchasima province then submitted to KURU by 7th Regional Protected Area Office, Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation.

The vulture was release at Doi Lang along Thailand-Myanmar border in Chiang Mai province where it is on the wintering vultures flyway in the country.
The vulture was banded on right tarsus a metal band 18A00010, and mounted with a GPS-Mobile Phone based telemetry (backpack type, supported by Thailand Raptor Research Fund) to track its post-release movement.
