Post-release movement of Himalayan vulture

One juvenile Himalayan vulture Gyps himalayensis, tagged with GPS GSM tracker on its back, was released on 6 April 2021 after receiving veterinary care at Kasetsart University Raptor Rehabilitation Unit.
The vulture was found exhausted due to starvation in Ranong in January 2021. The release was on Doi Lang in Phahompok national park, Chiangmai. The vulture flew to Sichuan, China by 30 April 2021,
and spent the summer there until 28 October 2021. On 29 October 2021 the vulture, KU852 or namely Kuanmon, traveled southward passing Tibet, Bhutan and Sikkim, and reached central Nepal on 21 November 2021.
