Two juvenile rehabilitated Himalayan Vultures will be released at Doi Lang, Chiang Mai on 3 April 2016. The release site is located on the vulture migration route.
The vultures (KU301 found in Suphanburi & 347 in Krabi in December 2015) were rescued from starvation by regional offices of Department of National Parks, and then submitted for rehabilitation at Kasetsart University Raptor Rehabilitation Unit.
